Goats, cats, people, and more :).
My first goat best friend, Lucy.
Aka Lucy Lou!
Some of the peanut gallery gang.
Brown: Buster Brown
Black/White: Peppermint Patty
White: Charlie Brown
Lucy loves the feels <3.
Charlie Brown has no shame, hopped right up there!
He had just tried to eat my hair...
There was baby born while we were there!
Mama Spotlight and her new baby, later named Turn Signal.
Goat kisses.
Spotlight's mystery baby, actually born first, we found him under the manger.
Named him Christmas.
He love cuddles.
Tom and Christmas selfie.
This was actually day one of meeting the Peanut Gallery gang.
Lucy REALLY loves the face feels.
Serious feels.
No hesitation.
The goats really liked Tom, and his jacket zippers.
Look at Charlie Brown, hard core creeping!
Billy Bob and his boys.
The majestic buck.
Such a sexy goat beard.
Goat kisses!
Precious loves the feels too. She would always come right up to us,
lean her body against us and look up at us for feels just like a puppy.
What can he say, he's a pussy (cat) magnet.
Tom Cat
The loudest, oldest, most properly stanced cat ever.
Tinker bell, old poodle doggy.
More Tom Cat.
His retractors don't work very well, so we'd call him velcro kitty.
My best cat friend, Sambo!
Morning cuddles with him were apart of the routine.
Miss Kitty, Sambo's mommy!
She drooled as I pet her, profusely.
Sambo is bad ass, a mini batman panther type of creature.
So magestic.
Sambo must have known it was our last day,
we cuddled there for at least half an hour.
He wrapped his paws around my arm and was kneading the whole time.
He's a drooler too, like his mama.
Tom and Tom Cat, a wonderful match.
Drover, the loving dog with LOADS of energy.
He would dig and dig in the coldest wettest rain like it was his job.
Human/goat rangler/bunny counter.
He went to Doggy college while we were there.
The biggest horse I've ever seen or sat on.
There was no way I was riding this thing,
so instead, I enjoyed a snack and
watched other people ride at the barrel races.
The races where every Thursday night.
Locals would get together and have a little fire and potluck.
We got to try homemade blueberry wine, mead, & banana wine there.
All delicious!
BIG OLD MOOSE mama, and her two calves.
This was down in the canyon right next to Terry and Randel's house.
About 20-30 yards away.
Never mess with a mama and her calves.
Me and Ter-Bear!
She'd never done a face mask before…that had to change :)
Terry is such a sweet lady.
She always made sure our bellies were full and happy.
She surprised us with treats every so often.
She has such a big heart, and just wants everyone to love each other.
Her best quote:
"No one is normal, normal is just a setting on your dryer."
Our forever Alaskan grandma.
Thank you for everything Terry!
Muhammad-Owl-Li
A sculpture our friend made.
Some of the sweetest, down to earth, warm people I've ever met.
Chelsea and Brian & their crazy beautiful kids
Kera, Issac, and Packston.
A mexican candy we got from Maria.
who sat next to me on the plane to Seattle.
She was taking a leap of faith type of journey.
I gave her some good luck art work, and some Gin Gins
and in return she gifted us these.
Probably the coolest book in the world.
Randel's father's autobiography.
The history behind these folks, and this place is incredible.
An image from the book, Randel and his brothers
grabbing what they trapped.
We hope to get a digital copy made.
They had every stage of chicken's there.
Eggs, chicks, teen chickens, and adults.
The man and his fierce poodle mistress Cricket.
Randel is the most gangster, no non-sense, full hearted guy I know.
He made sure that we were comfortable,
every night he would ask if the camper was okay saying,
"If you need anything, ANYTHING, do not hesitate to ask."
He built every structure on the farm.
He can jerry rig anything &
shoot anything.
Lots of wisdom.
Thank you for everything Randel!
